About the event

The implementation of artificial intelligence in the digital age is a necessity and, although its benefits are undeniable, it is not without risks . On June 3 and 4, the San Francisco Cultural Complex in Cáceres will be the setting for the XXXI International Congress European Business Ethics Network (EBEN ) organized by the University of Extremadura, with the confirmed attendance of more than 250 participants, from 5 countries, as well as professionals and companies from all over the country. Given the great interest it has aroused, the organization is offering the possibility of registration to the general public until May 31. All the information, at this link .

Corporate Humanism and AI

The generic theme, according to Professor Rafael Robina, coordinator of the scientific meeting , is 'Business humanism in the digital age: an ethical vision of Artificial Intelligence'. “We have believed that the discussion of two current topics such as business humanism and Artificial Intelligence is essential. Nowadays there are many seminars focused on digital and its tools, but a conference focused solely on ethical analysis is not. Have you ever wondered about the consequences of selling the iris or manipulating images with AI? In this conference we will try to answer them from the teaching and business fields” , he points out.

“It is an issue that concerns families, parents, associations and foundations. That is why we decided to open the congress to the public, because there is still capacity to accommodate more participants,” he adds.
