His Majesty King Felipe VI assumed the Honorary Presidency of the 1st AI Hackathon for Vulnerable Groups
Institutional leaders and AI experts join forces to promote technological solutions with social impact, in the first hackathon organized by OdiseIA focused on vulnerable groups during February 25, 26 and 27, 2025 at the Pablo VI Foundation.

His Majesty the King has agreed to assume the Honorary Presidency of the OdiseIA4Good Hackathon , the first international event aimed at promoting Artificial Intelligence solutions with a positive social impact. Organized by OdiseIA, the Observatory of the Social and Ethical Impact of Artificial Intelligence , this hackathon received funding from Google.org and support from the Paul VI Foundation .
In its first edition, OdiseIA4Good garnered the support of prestigious companies and institutions such as CEU San Pablo, the Bank of Spain, Telefónica, the ONCE Foundation , and Red.es , among others, bringing together experts, entrepreneurs, students, and organizations committed to the responsible development of artificial intelligence.
The event was held on February 25, 26, and 27, 2025 , at the Pablo VI Foundation in Madrid. It offered a collaborative space where participants developed technological solutions focused on improving the lives of people in vulnerable situations. His Majesty the King's acceptance of the Honorary Presidency recognizes the social impact of this hackathon, reinforcing its importance within the European technological and social ecosystem.

The OdiseIA4Good Hackathon concluded on February 27, 2025, with a conference that brought together leading experts in artificial intelligence, technological ethics, and entrepreneurship, offering a program that combined specialized panel discussions and high-level presentations. Confirmed speakers included Carme Artigas (Former Co-Chair of the UN AI Advisory Body), Aleida Alcalde (Director of AI at the Government of Spain), Virginia Carcedo (SG of the ONCE Foundation), José Joaquín Flechoso (President of FUCOMP), and Bas Wouters (CEO of the Cialdini Institute), among others.
